UNIT 11: IMPOSSIBLE SHOPPING LISTS

Dear students, I would like you to write down an impossible shopping list (at least five items) and when you finish, please kindly explain to us why is it an impossible shopping list. Here is my list to all my dear readers:

1- five pounds of iceberg. 2- three kilos of tropical olives. 3- one friend next door. 4- seven milks. 5- one more year of life. 1-It is not possible to buy five pounds of iceberg because nobody sells icebergs. We need to protect icebergs. They are important for climate. I also think it is not possible to buy iceberg parts because it because it melts. 2-It is not possible to buy tropical olives because the olive tree grows in dry land. 3- It is not possible to buy people's feelings.It is possible to pay him to talk to me, but that is not friendship. 4-It is not possible to buy seven milks because milk is uncountable, I is possible to buy seven litres of milk. 5- It is possible to have healthy habits but it is not possible to buy an extra year of life.
